As I see it my blog has 3 purposes
- Keep Bill's grandmothers et al informed about the latest and greatest in his life.
- Practice my writing. As a computer programmer for 10 years, I let this skill go a little.
- Practice and discuss Marketing(Google Analytics, AdSense, and other affiliate programs)
So besides cleaning up the house today, I've added Google AdSense. The title over the ad section is "New Car Fund". This is to make it clear that clicking on these ads, while not only being useful to you, will provide micro funds towards things useful in raising a child.
So join me in viewing how well Google ties the ads shown, to the content I write. Naturally, you can expect an increase in topics like Buying Cars, Mesothelioma(aka asbestosis), Discount clothing and furniture. You know, the things that are useful to you and companies are willing to pay for your click. I'm not saying abuse the links, I'm saying "Please click them" if they interest you.
And we are off.
