Two Trip Day

Today, we decided to stretch it a bit. We didn't exactly get up early this morning. Steph was pretty tired from late night feedings. So after breakfast, we loaded up the Corolla and drove over to Lincoln Park. Bill took his seat in the Snugli for the walk and we did the loop around the park. Bill didn't feel like posing for pictures there. Steph and Butch posed.
Shortly after the picture, we saw a pair of Bald Eagles chasing each other overhead. They are such big birds. We came home and had some lunch and Bill had a nice long nap. Coming up the hill at the park, Mommy got pretty winded. We decided to increase her iron content, i.e. menu equals steak tonight.

This afternoon after Bill had a snack, we loaded up the Corolla again and snuck off to the grocery store. I kept Bill deep in the Snugli and he was wonderful the whole time while Mom shopped. Bill made a nice impression of my sweater's zipper in his forehead as he konked out. He loves sleeping while you walk.

It's been pretty cold here, and expected to even possibly get a dusting of snow. We'll see.
