Bill can really get wakeful in the middle of the night. Steph is taking the brunt of it, although I did have some fun last night changing a couple of diapers and wrestling legs back into his sleeping outfits. This morning, we woke to an incredible view of the Olympics. After some breakfast for all, we went for a walk.
We decided to check out a park we had never been to before. I had found it on the map while getting directions to the doctor's office on Wednesday. Ed Munro Seahurst Park in Burien. It's very similar to Carkeek Park or Saltwater State Park. Drive down a ravine to a waterfront park and walk along the beach. It was very pretty out on the water and we saw some Goldeneye ducks.
As far as the yard at home today, we saw the Anna's Hummingbirds, Chickadees, Juncos, Stellar's Jay, Red Crossbills, sparrows, and a Flicker in the backyard with some Robins. When we got home from the park, I saw some sort of falcon high up being chased by what looked like a flock of Starlings. Go get'em falcon.
Bill's eye is still gooping a little but it seems to have gotten better. He continues to prefer to occupy himself with eating and sleeping. I tried to give him some tummy time this afternoon, he went with it and faked sleeping then tried to move a little before getting annoyed with his Daddy.
