First Pediatrician Visit

Today was Bill's first Doctor's visit. It was fun. Bill kept Steph up last night pretty good. I heard him a couple of times, she let me sleep. I counseled her on waking Daddy to take more of the load.

At Dr Dong's office, we signed in and tried to avoid touching anything the sick kids might have touched. Filled out the paperwork, and quickly asked if there was a changing room. In spite of our preparations, Bill got hungry and needed a change. I'm still learning the etiquette of changing babies, apparently you don't just use whatever space you want.

Dr Dong checked Bill out, and everything was great. Bill has gained about 3 oz since leaving the hospital. He got another PKU prick in the heal. We both feel incredibly lucky to have found such a great doctor. He's a cyclist too, I like him for sure.

The afternoon was rainy. Bill got carried around on a walk to the park, buried in the snugli on my chest under the umbrella. He didn't care much for the beautiful evergreens in the park, but was in a nice zen state that stayed with him after we got home. Great afternoon to start a fire in the fireplace and stay inside. Not easy to leave them to go to class tonight.
