Safety first

Today, Bill and I did a little Triathlon. After Mom left for work, we started out by driving to the park(about 3 miles each way). At the park, we used the Baby Jogger and ran about 2.5 miles. Then we drove home. We had some lunch and I fixed up the bike and trailer. We rode by bike the 3 miles to the same park, but rode the 1/2 mile out to Colman Pool. It is a beautiful July day in Seattle, aka 60 degrees gray and windy. We swam the half hour lesson, did the Hokey pokey and then rode the bike back home. The hill going back home was...a big hill. Bill was able to catch some shuteye on the return trip. After a little extra nap, we had cheerios and yogurt for a snack.

We had to forgo the helmet on the bike trip, the seat pushed on it too much. But right after I took this picture he did a head plant in to the floor, the helmet took it, and he hardly noticed the impact.
